Starting off the list with my thrift store finds......
This super cute little tin held tablets for getting rid of intestinal worms.
The box lists how many tablets according to age. Must have been quite the thing back then. This box dates from the 30's but a friend of mine's kid just started taking meds for worms.
WASH YOUR HANDS people!
Buttons, buttons and more cool buttons.
You can never have too many.
( Am I turning into a hoarder???)
These dogs were in a parked car in the supermarket parking lot.
There were like 5 or 6 of them packed in there, barking away.
Wrinkles, reincarnated.
This crazy looking brioche bread is a specialty of the nearby bakery.
It's like a croissant dough with powdered sugar on it. Sinfully good.
Our scarecrow has found new to him summer clothes and the plants/seeds are in the ground. Five rows of strawberries, cukes, zuchinni, tomatoes, squash, corn, herbs, salad, kale, shallots, chard.
Beets, carrots, kolarabi.....we'll see what makes it :)
After 15+ years, I finally painted the dates/initials that were carved in our granite.
This window was originally the main door. I assume the letters are from the stone carvers
and the date is 1853.
I'm very happy with the result.
Landscape redo, again. This time I put down some landscape fabric so hopefully the weeds will be kept back.
Same shot a week later. The peonies have opened:)
This little iron lady holds open the shutters.
And last but not least...
I bought this porcelain artichoke from a friend of ours who is a ceramic artist.
Stef made it a fantastic base out of some re-couped wood.
