Fall at Chênedouit

 Getting our steer of wood delivered by our neighbor. 

The least visit was grey and cool. No BBQ's over hère.                                                                                  We did of course bust out the deep fryer. We also discovered a hornet's nest outside in the air intake vent of our chimmney (to be continued) and Seb and I dug up and replanted a bunch of stuff. 

Above are the two squash that I cut out of the garden because the vines were dead and withering. (And I dug up and covered everything in the garden last week except my parsley that is still giving.)

They are supposed to be orange (like below). Not enough sun /warmth/growing time.....

We'll see if they ever change color and if not can I still eat them?
