Almost 30 days of confinement

and another 30 to go.


I've been listening to

Chariot's Rise bt Lizzie West
from the film "Secretary".

Such a good film.

What I wouldn't give to see a good film, in a real theater.

Let's just say, lots of music.

I've been hearing .....
my neighbors discuss their dinner options.
I can't see them mind you, just bits and pieces of their conversation.
But I can deduct from the toppings mentioned, they were having pasta.
How much do you want to bet?
Grated cheese, ketchup, cream, or butter.....

 I've been looking .....
through my window...longing to go to the beach, the forest,
or our house in the sticks.
(Instead of just a walk to the corner park to drop my compost a few times a week.)

I've been eating ........TOO MUCH! 

Seb and Stef just got done making chocolate chip cookies.

Apéro...apéro, apéro.Although this morning, I peeled some carrots and cleaned some radishes for tonight's apéro. A bit lighter for a change. 

I've been reading......

Actually, I finished this a while ago now. 

My Christmas present and a darn good one it was. 

As of last week.....
I'm out of actual paper books. 

IT IS KILLING ME.

I missed the library closing by three days
and will never forgive myself.

I've reread everything in the house. 

I need a real book(s) to get me through the next four weeks. 

I've been watching .......bad films. 

Most recently "We Were Soldiers" in French. 

 In their defence, they did however dub Sam Elliot's voice 

with some low grizzly sounding man to do him justice. 

The longest 2H40 minutes of my life. 

 

Tonight between the Present's speech, the boys squeezed in Hitchcock's "How to Catch a Thief". I didn't make it to the end, to slow paced for me in my current state of mind.

And not once, but twice in a month we watched this one. The owner ( above in red speedo ) and the crazy maintenance man with a flame thrower are reason enough to watch this one. 

Such is my life in confinement.
