the last bits of vacation

I'll always remeber in West Bend, WI 

we saw a vending machine outside selling fish bait and tackle. 

Well, here in Caen, 

we have outdoor vending machines selling oysters. 

Between 20 and 25€ for a dozen depending on the size. 

 AND, you even get a fresh lemon, 

a shucker (don't know if I'd trust losing a finger to it personally, but hey) 

and a small jar of white wine shallot vinegar. 

All that's missing is a small bottle of vino and a glass. 

I asked Seabstian to please give me a steak knofe and this is what appeared on the table. Ha, ha good, clean  lunchtime shenanigans.

And last but not least, 

we were surprised to discover we can find Ritz crackers at Carrefour. 

This little box....  .90€ 

Ouch. Better savour each one. 

And no, we didn't buy any.
