Street Art & Graffiti

I learned the father of modern graffiti
is a guy named "Cornbread" from Philadelphia

I learned there are only 33 members of
the Berlin graffiti task force charged with enforcing the entire city.

I learned this piece was done for the 2006 World Cup.

I learned the artist who did the dog below
is a French girl named Paulette.

I learned the graffiti task force once used
helicopters to try to catch taggers in the act.

This vacant lot /squat had the perfect view for these two gigantic pieces.

No kidding, this was spray painted at the entrance

There is a lot of  graffiti in Berlin. Lots and lots, loads.
We even got a chance to do our own.

At The Urban Spree (as seen above)

And amazingly,
I avoided getting paint on myself or anyone else.
