La Tour de Londres

Hands down my favorite part of my short visit to London, The Tower of London. We could have spent all day there. We only had 2 1/2 Hours. We missed out on a bunch of stuff, but oh well. The kids loved it as too.

Here's a view from before you enter.

That's it, we're officially inside.

All of the animals shown are made out of chicken dire.
They were amazing.

Chicken wire monkeys, couldn't get a better look due to the Sun.

Waiting to get inside to see the Royal Family's jewels. No photos allowed. Not my thing really, but seeing the crowns up close and the size of the diamonds and such was pretty breathtaking. The crown King Charles will be wearing in May for his coronation was on display. It weighs 4 kilos! He was just in three days prior for a fitting. They had to add 3 centimeters to the size for his extra large brain size.

All of these buildings are inside the walls of the London Tower.

Swords, swords and more swords....

Aren't these little English kids too cute in their uniforms !!!!

Our goodbye photo after the tour and our picnic lunch.
Thanks London, it was fun!

Harry Potter Studios

Even though I'm not a huge die hard Harry Potter fan,
the tour was pretty darn amazing.

Amazing recreations of the streets and shops shot in the films.

The special effects section was after lunch. We pretty much breezed though it, which was too bad because I thought it was the most interesting.

My life casting skills could have gotten me a job working on the film....

These outside buildings were part of the picnic area.

The gift shop was massive, like the size of a football field.                                                                        Just a small assortment of swords for sale.
