Instead of carrying boxes like the rest of us,
here is Seb "helping" our friends move.
An all day affair with a very civilized lunch.

And last but not least, on Monday night, I looked out the window and saw this.
Apparently the circus was in town and set up right behind the hall where I teach my class.
So funny!

Super soccer !

Last game of the season…..

All the parents got together for a BBQ last weekend. Don't be fooled by the guy in the shorts. Last I checked we are in the month of July. As soon as the sun set, it was COLD. Yes, I had a scarf on.

Go Run DMC…

The chocolate cake ….it probably could have fed 80 people….
it sure was good.

Aside from watching the end of the soccer match between Germany and Italy,
and sporadic eating, the kids were outside playing until we left at 2:30 in the morning.

Seb's school outings

Where's Waldo???
Seb and his class participated in a run from city hall to the memorial.
Here they are looking fresh for the departure.

This is a visit to the forest. When I picked him up from school that afternoon, Seb had no t shirt under his sweatshirt. He had slid in some mud and his t shirt was trashed. So were his shorts for that matter, but seeing as he didn't have a chance of pants…. his Green Bay Packers hat remained unharmed.

Here is Seb the millionaire dressed up for the carnival for mardi gras.

They went on a picnic to the park. Yes, that's my son reading a playstation tutorial. Still proudly sporting the Green Bay Packers hat. (It isn't contrary to what you may believe the only baseball hat he owns. Just his favorite.)

Back to city hall for a tour. Below they are in the hall where marriages take place.

Seb got to be a witness for the bride and groom in his class.
(Sitting second from the right)

Fieldtrip to the Memorial….
lecture by a concentration camp survivor followed by tour of the museum and hands on with some vintage stuff.

Seb seems pretty intrested by that boot in his hands.

Chenedouit Happenings

Reminded me of Adam Bartell….nothing to do?
Dig some holes.  It was pretty hot that day, so one hole was enough and it was plenty deep. No treasures were found but kept him busy for a good long time.

An after dinner walk, chatting with the cows,
seeing if that spinach we ate for dinner had indeed made us stronger.

I want that pump for our yard.

A little fixer upper…..
just needs a little TLC.

A roof, floor and a couple of walls
and you're good to go.

Some of my rhubarb….
before and after

Some documentation of two weekends worth of work.
Seeing as it has been raining here since the month of March I am sure they will get plenty of water.
A little sun would be nice though.

Yeah! Fresh eggs from the neighbor!
