This morning we went to an expo on books. All sorts of books. Bought two very nice ones. It was held at the castle and as an added treat our friend Kristel and three other artists had an art installation there as well. Following the book theme they played with volume, painting and kinetic works as well. Enjoy!
These pin wheels were made from pages of regular books as well as braille.
Kristel's beached whale constructed entirely out of paper. No armature inside of it either!

These little paper wonders must have taken a fair amount of time to make. Folded as well as stitched they took advantage of the wind.
