 Our Christmas upgrades......

Not only did Santa bring us a car stereo, he also left us something extra special for the toyota corolla. A gold sphere lance launcher self defense system. (say that fast three times)

 Also worth noting.....I missed out. These two were so filled with joy and animation they just couldn't keep it in.

Mom's visit

 Stephane's cousin Arnaud recently open a hydro therapy salon and offered us a try.....seems everyone enjoyed themselves and indeed left very, very relaxed.

The other morning Sebastian made us breakfast in bed. 

A first.....

Although I did hear.....Mom can you please open the door and take the tray? He couldn't manage to get the tray through the door. Ever loving Seb also made a heart out of beads with all of our names listed. Including Texas the cat of course.

So sweet.

 Thanks to the always on top of it Ziegler family, Sebastian had the pleasure of decorating his bed, door, room, with zombie tape and bloody fingers. Our cat Texas also enjoys playing with the fingers, hence we discover a stray finger here and there when you least expect it.

 So what do you do when it's rainy and grey and feel like some fresh air? Take your bike to the beach of course. Get a little dirty, puts some miles on the tires. 

 Maybe we'll invest in some mudguards.

What can I say.....We didn't see the month go by. What happened to summer? All of a sudden it was fall. Birthdays, school, work, soccer, swimming, enormous zucchini.

 Our potiron went towards 8 liters of soup and pieces shared amongst 6 different people. Now that's a pumpkin.

 Yum, blackberries......picked with love. Sebastian pulled out the chef's hat to help Dad make some jelly. Lots and lots of jelly.

today's bike ride

Today we rode about 20 km. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though we could still hear the traffic. Not too hot, only one bloody knee and made it home in 4 hours.

A picturesque bridge....

Some horses pulling a thingy....It was whipping around the hay freshly cut from the fields surrounding the horse track. We weren't the only weirdos taking pictures.
