Not that anyone looking at this picture would notice the difference but I had to share anyways. The sheep this weekend, two weeks since our last visit, have plumped up nicely.

The after haircut

Sebastian got his first "real" (not by Mom) salon haircut last week. I honestly couldn't stop staring at Sebastian that whole day. Honest, just ask Stephane...he just looked so darn handsome. Stephane's "real" haircut (not by wife) looked really sharp as well.

Lost tooth #4

Check out that root! Yum. Healing up nicely one week later. (This pic also serves as the before haircut photo.)
Too bad it's not my work. Here's what's going on around the studio lately. A horse and two knights from muffler pipes and misc. other finds.

what's up?

A picnic with Nana made for a sunny day and lots of fun.

Here's what's in bloom ladies...and I cannot believe I didn't take any pictures of the peonies which are starting to open. They were amazing.....

weekend at Chenedouit....

So this is how it works. We get there Friday and Sebastian is all excited to be in the country and the sheep are in the back field. A mother and her two young ones making all kinds of noise. It was quite enjoyable. He watched them for quite some time just being happy to observe.

Then Saturday the 15 year old cousin shows up and they are IN the back field trying to feed the sheep and pet them. Although they succeed in doing both, for their sanity (the sheep that is) the kids didn't keep at it very long.
Kicking back after three hours at the table in really enjoyable weather taking pictures of each other.
The mandatory group shot.

Too bad this stone wall and tree aren't on our property, it sure is charming. Also worth mentioning, too bad that wood pile isn't on our property...talk about a warm and joyful winter.

The planted garden. Yes, there is quite a bit of room in between those salad plants for other stuff. Cut me some slack, after all what do I really know about gardening?
And we are back home in the city...three showers later, planning for the next weekend.

Vacation..week #1

So what have we been up to?
An onion tart...dough from scratch and all. Not a very good pic, but it sure was good.

On the physical education side...ping pong, climbing and hanging out with friends.

Are these two 5 1/2 and 6 years old or 15 going on 16 years old? One has to wonder. Sebastian had a great time spending the day with his long lost friend Mattys.

Challenging his Dad on the ping pong tables and trying to climb while tanning his legs at the same time.
