The Beach....

Seeing as it was sunny and beautiful on Monday we took off to the beach. I could not find Sebastian's normal swin trunks so he was proudly sporting his "super sexy french cut" back up pair. Eat your heart out ladies....A bit of SPF 50 and we all went home happy and smelling like the sea.
Look Grandma...my Mom finally let me out of the house with a short sleave shirt. Then later when I was clowing around with Dad, she let me take it off! I couldn't believe it, she is really loosening up.
We finally found a sport which Sebastian has a bugger of a time with. In his defense, it was rather breezy that day. He managed to get a few serves in, but all in all ended up frustrated.
P.S. I scored on this set of 5 rackets, birdies, and net complete in it's carrying case for 3.00 euros. I can't really complain.

Garage Sale Madness....

Carih looking exceptionally good for 7AM!
P.S. Congrats on making it to brocante year #2
A random sampling of things that I had up for sale.
Glass rings, earrings and necklaces as well as some wierd looking stuffed
"things"...manga dodous

God bless found fabric, loads and loads of buttons and Mom's Wonder Under tutorial. I haven't ruined my ironing board cover yet! I bet you are proud.

The plane ride....

Now this is all the reason I need to fly Air France. This kids meal was fantastic. Pasta, chicken and carrots, a "Cheese popsicle", sensible salad, applesauce, and candy. Too bad I don't qualify.
Looking good before the 9 hour flight. Needless to say, no pictures were taken upon our arrival.

(Miniature airplane to prove that we really were at the airport.)
That's one big old' long escalator.

Super size it please...

Harder to steer than an 18 wheeler, we did it up shopping in the BIG stores. Saw a "good slice" of the Wal-Mart crowd out there as well. That should hold us for quite some time.

drummin'

Always a ham..thanks Jill, Adam, Simon and Harriet for the fun!

Sports talk with Sebastian....

Wouldn't be a trip to the midwest without a trip to the bowling alley and tossing a few baseballs!
Nicholas looking good.......

What form.....
Green ball or orange ball?

Who are these rednecks? Oh..that's us!

On our last trip home Sebastian and Co. got to try out some motorized entertainment compliments of our cousins. A nice chance to visit, a chance to take our mind off of things. Thank you soo much, Brad and Brian for the technical support! No broken bones, just lots and lots and lots of fun.

Jeff and Aiden (who didn't even fall off once!)
Me and the kiddies.....

to Dad.....

Looking good....I hope you are looking down on us with the same smile. Never a big talker, certainly never a complainer, a hard worker who gave me personally (amongst everything else) my love of recoup and do it yourself. As Sebastian said, "he'll always be in our hearts".
All of our love....

taking in some art

Here's Sebastian in front of two of his favorite paintings. We spent the day doing the art museum, the natural history museum, and a third with some photography. A good day, in spite of the raindrops.
